Terms of use

The short version: you buy Hush once and it is yours to keep. It runs on your Mac, makes its own reversible choices about background apps, and never force-quits anything without your action.

Your license

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to install and use Hush Performance on the Macs you own or control. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no account beyond your license, and your settings live in a plain file on your Mac, so Hush keeps running even if Epiphani Studios does not.

What Hush does to your Mac

Hush adjusts how macOS schedules background processes, using the system's own reversible background tier, and can pause or quit an app when you ask it to. The app in front, your protected apps, and your AI sessions are left alone. You decide the rules, and you remain in control of your machine at all times.

As provided

Hush is provided as is, to the fullest extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind. You use it at your discretion. To the extent the law allows, Epiphani Studios is not liable for indirect or incidental loss arising from use of the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.

Refunds

If Hush is not right for you, write to us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it. We would rather you be happy than hold a sale.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date above moves when they do, and continued use after a change means you accept the current version.
